| dc.description.abstract | Me Standing There, You Standing Here is a web-based, multi-dimensional, photo/graphic narrative about a woman who, in the late 70's, takes her two children across the country to meet various men she contacts from personal ads in the backs of magazines. Inspired by actual events, the bittersweet tale will take viewers on a journey through childhood memories and associations, theirs and mine. Part documentary, part interactive memoir the project will create a narrative thread using the memories of the protagonists juxtaposed with the memories of the same events submitted by people they met along the way. | en_US |
