Pounder Heritage Vegetable GardenCollection home pageThis is a Collection of images from the Cornell Plantations Botanical Garden Collection. This garden focuses on the changing role of vegetables in the American diet over time. The garden is divided into four theme beds, containing plants typical of those grown in the northeastern United States in the colonial gardens of the eighteenth century, during the gilded age of the late 1800s, in the victory gardens of World Wars I and II, and in today's gardens, respectively.
