I build machines and robots that I allow my audience to operate. My art is a mix of technology, sculpture, biofeedback, inventions, fear, play, audience interaction, storytelling, intimacy, rite of passage and empowerment. Humans power machines and through feedback the machines power humans.

2008 Rockefeller New Media Foundation Proposal
    Spelletich, Kal (2009-06-08T19:15:35Z)
What would happen if the microorganisms, bugs and germs that live in puddles under your sink and house were busily building robots to amplify their actions and reactions? And what if the robots were thousands of times larger than the bugs? I propose building up to 20 robots that will amplify the actions of hybrid microorganisms and assorted creatures. These machines will explore melding an audience with robots and living organisms.
